Are Super Shriya Stories only for South Asians?

Absolutely not! Super Shriya Stories can be enjoyed by children of all backgrounds.

The first book encourages children to overcome self-doubt and believe in themselves — an important message for every child.

Shriya is a South Asian character, and the stories introduce elements of South Asian culture and food. Each book includes a glossary at the back to explain the few non-English words used.

One of the key aims of Super Shriya Stories is to celebrate inclusivity and diversity. The books offer South Asian children the opportunity to see themselves represented in stories, while helping children from other backgrounds discover and appreciate South Asian culture.

By gaining a better understanding of one another's cultures, we can encourage greater acceptance, empathy and respect.
